I wanted to offer my own tips for getting over the craving hurdles, which come up from time to time...I would first ask if you have allowed any sugar back in your diet recently. In my experience, if I have let in any extra sugar, unknowlngly or even by fruit or wine, it can start a whole psychological and physical roller coaster in which I begin to crave bad carbs. When I'm super strict, however, I don't feel that way. Craving carbs is now a signal to me that I've let something back into my diet.My only real tip for you is to be sure you're eating things you love! I noticed you mentioned in your post that you have been following the menu and shopping list.. sometimes, following another person's plan can leave you unsatisfied, even if the plan is completely healthy! This is in no way meant to discredit the menu plan, but an encouragement to "make it your own"! Food is to be mentally, not just physically, satisfying, and if you're eating meals you love all the time, you will be much less likely to want more. Hope this helps!

Hi Margaret,

Congratulations on your decision to start eating paleo! We follow the menu and use the shopping list. Since we began we have had no cravings and not been hungry. Suddenly we are craving all the wrong foods: ice cream, pasta, french fries, etc.. We do not want to lose our momentum, what do you suggest?

Simple, easy, delicious meal. My husband and I have been on Paleo for six weeks. I cannot drink grapefruit juice at this time.

What would you suggest as a substitute for grapefruit juice? However, instead of using one cup of hot water, I used 1/2 cup of Organic Free Range Chicken Broth + 1/2 cup of water. To me, this added a bit more flavor.I'm going to try this again tonight and add other vegetables as well.NOTE: Make sure the soup is hot, but not BOILING HOT as you are cooking it.Have a nice day!

I tried this yesterday and was very surprised at the results.
