I ended up chopping the chicken and throwing it on the pan with some sea salt and black pepper and also added some lemon juice. I let it cook on med/hi until it was all dry. I skipped out on the cabbage. The secret though is in the sauce. Do the exact recipe (I used soy sauce instead) and you'll love it. Had this the next day as a chopped cold salad.

OMG!this was awesome! Who needs real Thai food when you can have this! I highly recommend this recipe. She even asked to eat it again before bedtime. The home-made tamari sauce is KEY! I used Braggs Liquid Aminos b/c I have not been able to find coconut aminos anywhere. Also, if you have kids try chopping the broccoli and carrots in a food processor until they are REALLY fine. I have found that my kids will eat these raw veggies if they are chopped really fine and the texture is so nice.

This is SO flavorful! Coconut aminos taste like soy sauce, but don't come from a non-Paleo source. Thanks for bringing my attention to this recipe.

Yes, often sugar, preservatives, soy, etc. By the way, I just changed the recipe to say “coconut aminos” instead of tamari. I assume some sugar?

So what’s in regular Thai sauce that isn’t Paleo-friendly? For instance, Paleo "rice" is just shredded cauliflower - it looks and acts like rice, but it's not a grain.

It usually just means that a traditional recipe has been altered to make it fit into the guidelines of the Paleo diet.
