Just finished with the turkey burgers and they were delicious! I’m looking forward to my lunch tomorrow :)

I made these and whipped up some guacamole with avocado, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, and red onion. It was a great side to dip the turkey burgers in!

The burgers were a huge hit with the family:) Took the idea from mellabella and made some guac. Made a great topping for the burger.
    Thanks!!

Very good and fast recipe. And the guacamole was perfect with them!

Used ground chicken with this instead of turkey and served them with lettuce wraps. All around good meal, definately need a meat thermometer so they don’t over cook and dry out. Thinking that next time I will serve it with paleo BBQ sauce recipe for an extra burst of flavor.

  8. My wife makes these for me and they’re delicious! Of course for me though she adds jalapenos, sometimes red peppers. Great on the run snack.

    Delicious! Will make them again.

  10. Very delicious!!!! Made them with roasted asparagus and fresh watermelon as sides.

what am i supposed to use for buns?

  12. beerninja

    @Neely
so i used protabella mushrooms as buns, with Romain leatus. and garden fresh tomatoes so good. because burgers should be eaten with your hands not a fork and knife :)

  13. My package of ground turkey was 1.2 lbs. I cooked these on a panini pan with a press on the cooktop. They are delicious, but I will definitely cut back to 1/2 t. sea salt next time. Otherwise, yummy!!

  14. This was excellent! I made one accidental substitution–I grabbed ground chicken breast instead of turkey–but it worked out wonderfully and baked instead of grilling or pan frying. I also added ground cumin, cayenne, and chili powder and it had real kick. Absolutely delicious.

  15. so delicious! so much taste!

    Ground turkey or turkey breast?

  17. Awesome recipe. We tried these twice. We made the mistake of pre-preparing, a day in advance, these the first time and for some reason they turned out kind of dry. The second time we followed the recipe exact and they turned out amazing. Best turkey burgers.

  18. These burgers are super juicy and delicious.

This week’s menu doesn’t have a side listed — just combine with a green salad and Simple Dressing?

    • jenniedee – Very sorry about that! Yes, the salad and simple dressing would work perfectly. Or even just a bit of avocado and some fruit if that’s what you have on hand.

  20. WOW!!! soooo good! We had it with some guacamole on top of a lettuce leaf ( just like the picture!! ) and a tiny bit of sweet potato fries on the side. My super picky 8 yr old said this was the best burger ever!!!!!! I am def. planning on making many times again! thanks for the awesome recipe!!

  21. I tripled the recipe (made 20 small burgers) yesterday, added fresh dill to the Ninja when chopping the cilantro, and served it with apple slaw and fried green tomatoes. My husband liked it so much that I woke up this morning to find only 3 left! Definitely a hit.

  22. My whole family loved these. Definitely a “do-again”

  23. This was my husband’s and mine’s first try at a paleo meal and we both LOVED it. We ate it with some guac and the apple coleslaw on the side. The whole meal was super quick and easy to make. We will be eating these on a regular basis! :)
