Regardless, once I got to 5, it was much harder than I thought! I feel like a total burpee wimp, even though I'm in pretty good shape, ha! So I'm not going to let burpees get the best of me, I'm going to get back on the burpee wagon again!

ok, total honesty here. I no longer am getting headaches, and there was a period that I was feeling "almost normal" but now I feel almost as out of it as I did at the start. I have tried to up the fruits a bit and to eat some sweet potatoes but nothing has helped. I have lost 15 pounds, but I did not really start this to lose weight, I just wanted to get healthier, not sure that it is working. Any ideas?

Neely I commented on day 5 and am now at day 26, and still feeling the brain fog and fatigue. I did it a little different I used half of the cilantro, one jalapeño paper, and took out the red onion and half the habanero only because I was making it for my kids. We used it as a topping for our salmon burgers. They were so good. Will make this again.

It came out great. I have been eating Paleo for about 3 weeks now and, although I haven't had any blood work done yet, I am already in lovin it. I relate to food much differently now. I don't crave processed, sugar laden foods, I don't do emotional eating anymore, I eat as much as I want when I'm hungry, I don't feel sick and moody when I am hungry and I am really enjoying cooking new Paleo Recipes every week. B12 you may have to supplement for a while, but by eating more meat, you'll be getting more B12. I don't know what's causing the gluten free diet to be expensive. Are you buying all kinds of gluten free treats/breads/pastas that are very expensive? The Paleo diet can be more expensive than a normal SAD diet, so I wouldn't expect it to be cheap. But people eat this way on anything from $200-$600 a month, depending on how much organic/pasture raised/grass-fed foods you're buying and whether or not you buy things in bulk.

@Jess – Yes, I do think it would help with the GI issues. Hashimoto's is strongly correlated with grains, and gluten in particular. PCOS is all about insulin resistance, and this diet can get even the most insulin resistant people to have normal blood sugar/insulin levels. I'd give it a shot!

@Jamie – The short answer is yes. Definitely. Hashimoto’s is strongly correlated with grains, and gluten in particular.
