Ingredients
- 1 pound(s) pork, ground
- 2 teaspoon(s) honey, raw or maple syrup
- 1 medium garlic clove(s) minced
- 2 teaspoon(s) sage, dried
- 1 teaspoon(s) sea salt
- 3/4 teaspoon(s) thyme, dried
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg, ground
Instructions
- With clean dry hands, combine all ingredients together in a large bowl. Be careful not to over mix the meat: stop when just combined.
- Place the bowl into the fridge to chill for about 15 minutes.
- Once chilled, divide the mixture into four equal parts on a baking sheet.
- Divide to form into patties about 2 1/2 inches wide. Approximately 2 per serving.
- At this point you can refrigerate or freeze patties for later use.
- Heat a cast iron skillet to high and fry sausage patties two or three at a time, until cooked through, about 4 minutes per side.
- Place cooked patties on a plate lined with paper towel to drain.
