Crock Pot Rosemary Citrus Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • 3 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon(s) orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon(s) honey, raw
  • 1 medium orange(s) cut into slices
  • 4 tablespoon(s) rosemary, fresh
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) sea salt to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste on each side and place them in the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, orange juice, and honey until combined. Pour the juice over the chicken.
  3. Place the orange slices on top of the chicken breasts, and lay the rosemary over everything.
  4. Turn the slow cooker on low for 8 hours, and cover.
  5. Note: You could also make this recipe with chicken thighs, or bake this dish on 400ºF for 30-40 minutes if you forgot to set up your crock pot that morning
