  • 8 cup(s) watermelon
  • 1 cup(s) herbs, fresh or a combination (parsley, cilantro, basil, mint, oregano)


  1. Chop watermelon into 1 inch pieces (removing seeds) and put into a large bowl.
  2. Chop fresh herbs. Add to watermelon and mix together.

  2. Can anyone share the herbs that they used? I’m really new to cooking and don’t know what would go well with the watermelon. I usually just eat it plain, but want to give it some spice.

    1. Alycia – I love using an equal combination of basil, mint, and flat leaf parsley. I’ve also used dill weed, oregano, and a combination of fresh mint and cilantro. All combinations are delicious!
