Paleo Sports Drink Recipe

Just a quick post to tell you about an alternative to the standard sports drinks (Gatorade, PowerAde, etc.) out there. No need to consume toxic dyes – yellow no 5 anyone? – or high fructose corn syrup, or anything you can’t pronounce, just because you need a good dose of carbs for your workout.

You can make your own.

This Paleo Sports Drink is a great way to get some simple carbs in your system before or during a long workout.

  1. This works really well. It will also work as an ORS (oral rehydration salt) cholera, diarrhea, etc., in case you’re in any of those crazy places. My teaching team were all getting sick and couldn’t shake it, until they took a couple glasses of this.
