Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon(s) coconut oil
  • 1/2 bunch(es) kale thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound(s) mushrooms chopped
  • 2 medium garlic clove(s) minced
  • 1 pound(s) pork, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) fennel seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) ginger, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) nutmeg, ground

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt half of coconut oil.
  2. Add the kale, mushrooms, and garlic and saute until the veggies are cooked.
  3. Place the ground pork in a mixing bowl and add the veggies and spices. Mix well and form into patties.
  4. Melt the other half coconut oil over medium heat and add half the sausage patties; cook until golden brown on each side and cooked in the middle. Repeat with the other half. You may need to add a little coconut oil for the second set of patties.
