Ingredients
- 1 pound(s) turkey ground
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) sea salt to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup(s) water
- 1 bunch(es) kale stems removed and leaves chopped
- 2 teaspoon(s) maca powder optional
Instructions
- Place the olive oil and turkey in a pot on medium-high heat, stir regularly until the turkey has browned.
- Add the paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt and pepper, and stir for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the water and chopped kale and combine. Cover then leave to simmer for 6-8 minutes or until the kale has wilted and most of the liquid has reduced.
- Remove the pan from the heat for 2 minutes uncovered to lower the temperature of the turkey, then stir in the maca powder.
- Serve.
