Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) turkey ground
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon(s) paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) sea salt to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup(s) water
  • 1 bunch(es) kale stems removed and leaves chopped
  • 2 teaspoon(s) maca powder optional

Instructions

  1. Place the olive oil and turkey in a pot on medium-high heat, stir regularly until the turkey has browned.
  2. Add the paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt and pepper, and stir for a further 2 minutes.
  3. Add the water and chopped kale and combine. Cover then leave to simmer for 6-8 minutes or until the kale has wilted and most of the liquid has reduced.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat for 2 minutes uncovered to lower the temperature of the turkey, then stir in the maca powder.
  5. Serve.
