Try and use wild smoked salmon when possible

Is the smoked salmon really salty? Where could I get said salmon?

    • Neely

It is salty, so you don’t want to eat it all that often. You can get smoked salmon at Whole Foods or other health food stores.

I added cucumber and aioli. The aioli helped balance out the bitterness of the endive, in my opinion.

    you don’t cook the salmon??

    • Neely

Nita – The salmon is smoked, so no, you don’t cook it further.

These are so good. I’m hosting an Oscar party this weekend and have been pulling different appetizers from around the web. I’m also using the shrimp cocktail which was a perfect fit. http://thepaleopact.com/2014/02/28/oscar-party-appetizers/

This was so easy and amazing. I really felt like I was going out on a limb (especially with the onions) but I am so glad I did. It was perfect. Thanks! ..I actually used only about one slice of a red onion finely diced and that was plenty. Much more may have been overwhelming.
