Ants On A Log


Makes a snack for two.

Approximate cooking time: 5 minutes


  • 2 celery stalks
  • 4 Tbs cashew or almond butter
  • 2 Tbs raisins or dried currants


  1. Wash celery.
  2. Spread cashew or almond butter on each stalk.
  3. Top with raisins or dried currants.


  1. Simple snack… Yummy. Raisins naturally sweeten the almond butter.

  2. Can’t go wrong here. It is what it is. If you like celery and almond butter, you’ll like these. This was the first time I used almond butter in place of peanut butter on celery, and I thought they were great.

  3. I used to love celery and peanut butter but never had it with the raisins…love the combo with the almond butter. Little bit salty, little bit sweet!

  4. The almond butter I bought tast awful, can anyone tell which to try?

  5. I use Barney Butter alomond butter and it is pretty good.
